I have 12 feet of cast iron baseboard, in six 2 foot sections. This is connected to another 9 feet of baseboard on another wall. Durning renovations and no heat in the house, section #2 cracked. My plumber tells me all 21 feet needs to be changed. Can't the last two 2 foot sections be removed making the total length of the baseboard 19 feet?
