TIGHTNESS TEST 10MB FOR 1 MIN TESTING FOR LETBY
UPTO 20MB FOR 2 MINS TESTING FOR SOUNDNESS AM I WRONG

If he's about to take the test he should either have or have access to a copy of the CORGI 'essential gas safety' manual. If he is serious about doing what he does then he should certainly OWN an up to date one.

In this manual he will find the correct generic procedures for absolutely everything to do with gas safety.

He can buy these direct from CORGI if he rings them on 0870 516 8111 and explains that although he is not registered YET, he is at college and needs one to study with. Or his college should be able to order them for him.

Procedure may not be up to date. He should get an up to date copy immediately as there are some important changes which he will need to be aware of whenever he takes his exam.
