...installed a bristan 'fuse' ceiling fed shower yesterday, thermostatic mixer, the shower runs fine performance wise (off a combi) but when testing/inspecting the feeding hot and cold compression fittings for leaks, there is a significant hissing noise eminating fron the hot feed fitting when the shower is 'on'.

there are no water leaks - the hot and cold feeds are located in the loft, combi in the kitchen - is it possible air is trapped in the pipework? should I alter anything or just leave be, given the shower performance is fine?

thanks in advance.
