Ceiling paint problem

Hello to all

I need to know the best way to tackle over painting two bedroom ceilings both of which have been painted before using a silk paint.
I wish to over paint using a matt finish but need a base coat first, any ideas please.

No need, a good quality trade matt vinyl will obliterate that silk in 2 coats easy !
