Ceiling plasterboard and skim coat

Lots of bits of information out there, hoping someone could clear something up for me.

I'm intending on plasterboarding ceiling (12.5mm thick square edge) followed by skrim tape all joints and 2 layers of multifinish.

Does the skim tape and screws need filling (like in dry-lining)? Or good just to tape and then skim plaster?

Thanks for any advice
 
Just tape, no pre-filling required and then skim over it with either Board Finish or Multifinish plaster.
