when i open the hot tap it runs hot for a while then cold then hot and then the boiler starts banging

yes the central heating working fine it only happens when i turn hot tap on it runs hot for 10 seconds then cold for 10 seconds and starts to crash and bang so i turn tap off to stop it banging
it is a 24 le combi bolier
