a lad who works for me has scratch coated my extension concrete block wall he has used plastering sand cement plastisizer. for the scratch coat and the top coat which he has got very flat and looks brill.
now the problem of getting it to match the existing house.
he is mixing a sand cement very wet i might add and a 10mm gravel which is more like 8mm but there are plenty of big stones in there and are too big for the size on the house, he is putting it on with a tyrolean gun.
Travis Perkins sell a Spar Limestone and it is 7mm. will this go on in the same way as he is putting the normal gravel on? or will he have to add something to the mix as the stone is made of limestone?
please someone help me!
