Hello everyone. I'm new to the forum and wondered if someone can answer a couple of questions about the Centercyl 120 cylinder. Plumbcenter couldn't answer these.
My current system is as follows.
Vaillant boiler supplying heat to a vented radiator/cylinder system via pump and motorised valve in airing cupboard. Water is feed from a large header tank (in loft) to upstairs cold water taps and loos and also to the indirect cylinder which is about 140ltrs (1050*450).
The airing cupboard is currently in my daughter's bedroom, so I'm going to move it 2 ft into the bathroom. The cylinder is 20 years old, so I'm looking to replace it and was interested in the Centercyl 120, because of its slightly smaller diameter and has good heat recovery.
My questions are:-
The Centercyl 120 comes with a seperate shower connection. What's the advantage of this ? I have a gravity feed 'off-back-of-the-bath-taps' shower, so will it help with the H/C water flow/temperature stability of the shower ? In future, I might go for a thermostatic control shower, but not a power shower.
Also, is the vertical height of pipe coming out of the top of a cylinder a critical measurement ?
Sorry for such a long 'story' , thanks for any help received.
