I am presently laying out black ceramic tiles for my kitchen floor. I plan to put them down on the diagonal (diamond) and to use 6 white tiles as a central feature.
My question is, should I center this feature in the middle of the room from wall to wall or center it between the kitchen units (yet to be installed) and the opposite wall.

Thanks in advance,

gLo.

Hi gLo,
Normally you would centre a design on the visible floor space (i.e. between the wall and your kitchen units). If you are worried the best plan might be to make a scale drawings of the kitchen and colour them in showing the design centred in both ways.
If possible its also a good idea to dry lay the design to make sure your happy with it before spreading the adhesive and sticking the tiles down permanently.
All the best.
