Got an old Worcester 240 BF that I know is getting past it, tonight the little screw inside the Central heating bypass valve just decided to start leaking, at first the odd drip, now a steady trickle, its just a little threaded plug inside the valve basically, is there anything that can be done to stop it leaking I don't know why it should suddenly pick 10.30 pm on a Thursday night to mess me about ,but I'm slowly getting more water coming out, I've shut the radiator circuit off, now about to get the pressure out of the system so at least the water will stop coming out, any fix possible that will save me buying a new boiler just before Xmas , doesn't matter which way I turn it it won't actually stop leaking, it says never shut them off completely but it won't do that anyway
