central heating help!!!!

hi ive got a back boiler and its just stopped working ? when i got home today the heating lights were on my thermostat and timer. but the rads downstairs were freezing and the upstairs rads were warm but not hot! i switched the main power off and turned on again switched my heating control on but still no joy. help cos im cold

i only changed the pump last year but it is making noises. what can i do to check just buy a new one ?

It was probably damaged by dirt in the system and the same may have happened to the new one.

You may have a blocked feed from the F & E tank or the float valve is stuck.
