Hi all.
The pressure keeps dropping on our boiler. When I put the pressure up again and turn on the heating, when the heating comes off the pressure drops again to 0 bar.
I have turned off the flow to the CH and the pressure stays up so I don't think it's anything to do with the boiler. Also chest the PRV and that's fine.
Does this definitely mean I have a leak somewhere in the CH pipe work. Could do with some pointers before I rip all the floor boards up.
Oh one weird thing is that if the pressure (when cold) is turned right up, the heating is turned on. When the heating comes off again, the pressure stays high (obviously the overflow is constantly shedding water). It just won't stay in the green without dropping.
Just a thought, but do I need to build up pressure in the CH system. For example, heating on, heating off then pressure back up and repeat this until eventually pressure stays in the green.
Thanks for any help.
