Potterton 80 - CH not working

Hi guys,

So about 5 weeks ago both CH & water stopped heating up and the pressure had dropped to 0. I cam on here and with great advice from you lot upped the pressure and it somehow stayed consistent. Both CH & water were working as normal....

However, last night the CH just was not coming on, the water heated up fine but no CH. I checked the pressure, it was a little low but not 0 so I increased the pressure but still no CH.
The boiler seems to be working fine (pilot light on and running when the water is open) but just no CH.

any help would be great.

So what will you do next?

To check external controls needs a test meter and electrical experience.

To check the boiler needs a meter and boiler experience.

Boiler engineers do this every day.
