I'm currently putting a new CU in to replace the old fuse box and have a question about the central heating controls

At the moment the timer unit has power coming from a socket on the downstairs ring, so its a spur and it has a fused connection rated at 3 amps.
the power goes into the timer unit then onto the pump and auto' valve

my question is, is this okay? lol
i cant really get any more cable's accross the living room to the new CU so really it needs to stay like this but something just doesnt ring true with it??

any advice? thanks
