Can anybody give me some idea's
moved into an old house extendedthe back of the house, added 2 extra rooms & extended 3 rooms in the process 12 rads in total.
the old system never realy much cop was extended this made matters worse, put in new bigger pump bigger bioler 4 years ago etc still no full heating.
am in the process of replaceing all the labyrinth of 15mm with 10mm & 2 - 6 port manifolds, put in 7 new rads.
before completeing change over to 2 mainfolds i have cut off all but 2 rads , 1 in the kitchen & one in the hall, kitchen on old 15mm & hall with 10mm, kitchen ok hot , hall luke warm.
have chased all air drained (whats left of the old system) but still no change to hall, with only 2 rads i should have been able to cook eggs on both!. pump working ok.
Any body any suggestions
thanks

Whats the boiler doing then, does it reach high temp and cut in and out. If there are only 2 rads on the system and they only get luke warm, the heat has to be going somewhere, presuming there is heat there in the first place?

What was the water condition like? For the sake of it i'd repipe the remaining 2 rads, may find a nice kink in 10mm somewhere, or faulty valve on radiator. What happens if you turn the kitchen rad off?
