How do you get clean glazed kitchen ceramic floor tiles that have waterproof grouting marks left after laying the tiles. They are black and the remains of the grouting makes them look dirty. Nothing seems to shift it, they are like a slate effect so have got stuck in the crevices.

It depends on the severeness of the stains. Before I mention anything, it is always important to test a small area of inconspicuous tile with the solution to hand.
Various products on the market, ;;;;;;HG (extra)cement and film remover. I believe Lithofin do a similar product. Remember, some of these are acid based so you need to wear rubber gloves & follow instructions carefully/ Last resort ....brick cleaner.....but be careful and always test

I have also just laid our grey tiles with charcoal grouting.
I did grout and then clean before it dried.
However the grouting doesn't look grey it looks like it has a cream film on it. What can you suggest I do. I cleaned it again last night when it was completely dry and when I woke up this morning - it still looked like it had a film on it that looked a lighter colour than the charcoal it should be. Somes lines are darker than others. What can you suggest I do?

My husband thinks we should take the grouting out and try it again? Did we really do something wrong - too much water on the sponge whilst cleaning the grout before it dried? Or is charcoal a wrong colour grout to get. HELP HELP
