CH but not HW

Probably a common problem but I have CH but no HW, what could be the cause and how do I rectify it?

Before you can start fixing it you need to tell us

What sort of boiler

Whether it is an open vented or sealed system

have you bled the system (yes it can affect the hot water as well)
