Can someone please help with the following.

I recently moved into a new house which has a potterton PROFILE boiler, drayton LP722 and drayton RF1 installed.

When the CH switch is turned on the boiler does not fire up even though the thermostat (rf1) is showing that heating is required. I have checked the valve and it moves to the correct position according to what the timer says (lp722).

The boiler only turns on when the HW thermostat indicates that more hot water is required. As a result the radiators are only hot when there is demand for hot water.

I would be grateful for some advice.

Sounds like the valve head needs replacing to me, the microswitch must be broken.

Did you ever find a solution to this as I am having exactly the same problem? Drayton RF1 - according to the green light it is asking for heat but it is not firing up the boiler?
Thanks
