hi,
ive currently got a light that requires a round fluorescent tube, i cant find them for anywhere so have bought a new light fitting, now the problem, the wires in the light are 2 blue and a green/yellow in stead of the normal blue, brown and green/yellow. the light fitting has a L and E on the connection block, will it be safe to assume the L means live and the E means earth and connect it up to my new light?

thanks

Just connect it up in the same way as the old light.

You did make a note of which wire went where, didn't you?

ive not taken it down yet, thought id best check in case fluorescent light are wired up differently hence the diff wires. thanks
