Hi all

Got an old low level toilet in the downstairs wc which I want to change for either a close coupled toilet or back to wall pan in a false wall.

Problem is the old pan is cemented into a clay spigot and wanted to know if I could change toilet.

Hopefully picture helps

Thanks in advace

You'll need the BTW pan in false wall due to the distance of pipe from back wall - just cut round @ floor level carefully with an angle grinder. (excellent picture)(y)

Will a normal flexi pipe then fit in?

Sorry about the pic, not much space around it

your new WC is likely to stand out from the wall further. If the room is small this can make it very cramped. Have you got enough room?

If space is tight, there are a few WC pans that will swap in like your old one. Twyfords Refresh is one I know of.
Also E100 and Alcona, but they were not such a good fit in my case.
They are all modern close-coupled design.
You need the bottom-outlet version (vertical soil pipe connection)

I'll take some measurements tomorrow, the room is long just not that wide. I'd also look for a short projection toilet
