Hello, i'm considering buying a victorian terrace currently split into 2 flats.

I am aware that I need to get planning permission to retro convert and that it must conform to bulding reg etc.

How difficult/expensive is it to get the electric, gas and water united again?
Are there any other pitfalls I should look out for?

Many thanks for any good words of advice

Hopefully not a lot, if the individual supplies are up to supplying a whole house then you just need to get one of each disconnected.

You may have extra cost if eg the electric is 2 x 60A supplies on different phases, and you need a 100A single-phase supply.
