Evening all,
We’ve got a relatively thin 30-40mm Calcium Sulphate based liquid screed (Gyvlon Thermio+) set on top of PIR insulation. We need to channel the screed to lay some new pipe work for an extension (2x 28mm F+R pipes, 2x 22mm cold+hot pipes) and just wondering if anyone could advise what should be used to backfill the channel once complete?
The backfill needs to be suitable to encase pipes (I know they are supposed to be set in conduit so they can be replaced if required in future but I can assure you from years of cabling pulling that with the route they’ve got to take there’s an absolute 0% chance of this actually happening!) and also be compatible with the screed.
I wondered if very small batch of the same screed could work? Latex self levelling compound? Something else?
Thanks in advance.
