Channelled too much

Hi all im slightly concerned that
ive chanelled too much thermalite block out.

Its about 50mm for a shower valve. The channel on the right side can be filled in as that isnt needed now.

Should I be worried and should I fill in with a mortar mix?

How is it going to be finished. Dot and dab or plastered?

It will be tile backer with tiles.

I will be filling in gaps with expanding foam.

Ooops.

I believe you're allowed one third of the thickness for vertical chases and one sixth for horizontal.

You should be most worried about the horizontal chase, which is only partly visible in the photo.

I've no idea if you can fix that without replacing the blocks.

Is the wall load bearing? Personally I'd not be too worried.

I wouldn't worrry about the vertcals and you say you're going to fill the one to the right

Been looking into what filler.

Need 6 to 1 mortar (i think) wetting the blocks.

Nothing is supported by this wall other than the gable end.
