Some of my most prized possessions came from charity shops ......stuff you can't buy new in shops usually.
Get my books mainly from charity shops.
But you know what I see a lot of ? beer bellied migrants !! I thought they all did the jobs the lazy english don't want to do ? How come during the working day they've got time to go into charity shops if they're so hardworking ?
If I stop to get a sandwich I'll pop I to charity shop ......the other week about twenty were sauntering from shop to shop .......you should have seen the old dear voluntary workers .......watching them like hawks.
It's amazing what you can pick up by the way .....goretex hiking jackets, vintage leather stuff.........New books,
