Having these Chelsea kerb blocks fitted around the edge of the patio, the guy fitting them has laid them on concrete but has put them next to each other and with no cement in between each block, is this correct or should each brick have cement in between that and the next block, the design has a bit of an arc on it so that means where the arc is there is a gap between the blocks.

Thanks for that, after looking at that sheet, it is actually the kerb set type he has laid, the one laid is like the hi rise kerb set but top and bottom look the same height, that picture maybe shows cement not needed in between??

I would expect any edging blocks to paving to be haunched in concrete and have cement between the blocks. Otherwise it'll break away.

In my opinion it is merely a matter of the customers preference as kerb edgings set properly and haunched well with concrete will not go anywhere regardless of there being mortar joints between them.
