I had a Triton Nene Thermostatic Standard Bar Mixer Shower (I think) installed 2 years ago. It's generally worked well, but over the last few months it has started getting cold more and more frequently during a shower, even though the thermostat control has not been touched.

Can anyone give me any idea what could be the cause of this and how I can rectify it. Many thanks.

In addition, I have a combi boiler - don't know whether this makes a difference!

What make / model of combi do you have, is there more than 1 bathroom / shower room, outlets, sinks ect.

I have and I know people who have the same problem.
One of two things or both,
1. Pressure from water board varies, producing greater flows sometimes, and thus too much water flow for the boiler to heat.
2 In winter the mains water temperature is a lot lower requiring more power to heat, thus producing colder showers.

The Combi is a Celsia 24 CDi which I believe was installed by BG prior to me buying the house

I don't know whether it's down to either of these reasons, unless the pressure fluctuates, because it isn't constantly cold it's sporadic and lasts for about 30secs each time - which is a long time when you're trying to have a hot shower on a cold morning!
