Hi everybody doing a total refit on our kitchen but need a little advice on the cooker hood and extraction.

Right firstly this is the cooker hood http://www.appliancesonline.co.uk/p...himney-Cooker-Hood-Stainless-Steel-20609.aspx

What i want to know is can i duct this up through the ceiling and into the loft space and then have it extracting to the outside from on top of the roof?

First Room is 8 ft High then the loft space 6ft-8ft.

Thanks.

Presumably you wish to vent through the roof because you are not mounting it on an external wall. This should not be a problem, but usually taking ducting to an outside wall is easier & cheaper.

Sorry I haven't replied earlier been very busy, I am going to vent to an outside wall at 2.5 metres in length.
Thanks
