Hi quick question

I have installed a vent in my bricked up chimney, however I'd like to place my TV unit in front of it. The unit would be about a cm away from the wall and has holes etc in where the cables go and is fairly open if you get my drift. There is also no TV on top as it's wall mounted higher up. Would this allow adequate ventilation from the chimney breast vent?

Thanks

The unit is straight in front of the vent, but it won't be pushed right against it due to the skirting board. There well be at least a cm GDP between the unit and the wall ado the way round.
