Hi all
not sure if this goes in heating or decorating, but...
I bought a rather nice chrome rad for our lounge, but it gives out virtually no heat. Now I know this as I'm a physics graduate (shiny objects have very low emissivity), but I was trying to ignore it as the chrome one looked nice
Has anyone repainted a chrome rad? I want a dark grey satin, it will still be a feature against the white wall. I am wondering how I would prepare the chrome surface. It's 1800 x 400mm so quite big, can it be done chemically or do I need to sand it down? Reckon something like plastikote will be OK?
