Hi guys

I have bought a new chrome towel rail whcih is fed by the central heating.

The valves for it seem to be shaped so that the feed comes out of the wall.

The wall I wish to hang it on is a thin breeze block type construction.

I presume I'll have to channel a lane into the wall but does anyone have any tips that will save me some time here - I'm concrened as there is only a little bit of room and a elbow bend compression looks tight...

I have used solder joints with crome, but you have to scrape/strip/file the crome plate off the part which fits into the solder joint, do the joint, then use some crome coloured metal paint if any of the joint is to be showing (but sounds like you could get it all into the wall channel?

No way you can have an inlet/outlet on bottom of rad? Most towel rails I have done seem to have it that way.
