Church Conversion - can I keep the existing 20mm pipe

I am converting a grade 2 listed church into a 4/5 bed house. The existing water pipe to the building is 20mm. Do I have to replace this with 25mm or could I get away with keeping the existing 20mm pipe?

Depends what you want to do with it and if the existing flow rate and pressure is sufficient, I suppose.

Hope the pipe doesn't run through the graveyard. Spooky!
