Cistern capacity in Scotland

Hi been out of the game for a few years so thought to ask here. My mother got a new wc as part of a medical adaptation and the water level sits around 40mm below the 6l mark and the ball valve won’t adjust for any more water to fill it. So any help ?

Some float valves are telescopic and height can be adjusted by removing a locking clip. The float itself is for minor adjustments.

Tried that like the old torbeks

If yours doesn't have that adjustability, and can't set a 6 ltr water level, change it .

Will leave it for the fitter to come back as I have no strength in my wrists if the adjustment is there
