'Clack' noise on EcoTec 837

My Vaillant Ecotec 837 (c. 9 months old) makes a loud 'clack' sound when the CH pump overrun stops. Is this some sort of valve closing, perhaps? Is this normal, or should I ask my installer to come back and take a look?
