I've replaced a derelict old shed/outbuilding combo with a new 10m x 3m brick pillar, steel framing and am in the process of cladding it - see attached picture

There is a possibility that this may have to be demolished in the future (planning) so I am making it as demountable as possible. Thus the floor is very uneven and slopey.

There is a straight beam running the length of the building but whilst this is straight it is not plumb. I have started fixing the cladding but with the help of my dewalt laser level have noted that it will drift down about 20mm left to right.

I am in a quandary whether to fit the cladding parallel to the beam or perfectly plumb.

Any views?

Regards

Tet

Don't you mean "level" (horizontal) as opposed to "plumb" (vertical)? I'd probably fit level, or "other"
