I have a sealed Central Heating System. I'm not sure if I have a cleaning device on my system and if I have can I still use
a chemical cleaning solution? Can I add the chemical cleaning liquid through the feed pipe, by using a funnel, after draining the water?
The reason being is that the bleed valves on the radiators are small and the tool to enter it this way the thread too large to screw in.
When I refill the system, I can bleed the radiators and the water pump but I can't find any bleed points for the boiler. There is a drain tap above the boiler to
drain some water off which can release air should there be other bleed points. There might be one in the loft.
Please would someone clarify these point.
