Hi,

We just had some engineered wood put down and there is some PVA residue that was left behind from the installers fitting the floor.

Is there a safe product that will allow me to remove this residue without damaging the floor? Can I just use a damp cloth and some sort of soap?

Thanks!

damp cloth and soap has got to be worth a try.

don't know of a chemical that will remove pva gently.

only suggestion would be to use a razor blade scraper - the type used for removing paint off glass. the blade is surrounded by plastic and prevents u digging in
