I recently discovered a pipe in the downstairs loo had been leaking under the floorboards, no idea how long for but it had soaked the concrete. It's been repaired but i now have ticking, popping sounds coming from that area. Is this likely to be the concrete drying or another leak? Thanks in advance!

Can you turn the water off to hear if it stops?
Yes I already did that and it still does it. I am wondering if it's just the concrete drying out? Don't really want to call plumber back but it's a bit worrying.

Yes, it could be the concrete drying or pipe rubbing as Andy suggests
