Hi Helpful people! I have a filter coffee machine (brand: Prestige) that's probably no more than a couple of years old and used approx 5 times a week.
Lately however it's starting to play up and only works when it feels like. I've checked plug wires, so nothing loose there.
When I put it on, the little light comes on, but absolutely nothing happens. The element doesn't even heat up.
When I unplug it and leave it for a few hours and try again, it usually works. It doesn't matter which wall socket I use either. Yeah yeah, I know these things aren't made to last, but still...
Apart from binning it (reluctantly) any advice?
