The pipes to it are probably still full of crud.
Take the rad off again and see if you can flush some water from both valves.
Stick a hose pipe on and back flush if one is slow or doesn't let any water out at all.
Invest in a magnaclean and some inhibitor to stop it happening again and consider a powerflush or at least a chemical flush to help the magnaclean along.

Ok so you flushed some water from both ends so the only bit left is the rad itself. Have you had a hosepipe on the rad and flushed it through?
If so the way is clear for it to circulate so whats left to check out?
Is the pump working ok?
Have you tried balancing the system?
There could be a partial blockage !
Seeing as you mention a cold spot it could be that the cold part of the radiator is rusted solid or otherwise blocked internally and the only cure for that is a new rad.

Make sure the heating is turned off when you bleed the rad as you could drag air into the system.

Balacing rads is number 2 here
I get the feeling that there is more crud that needs to come out so it might be worth repeating the exercise.
Turning all rads off may help but you could end up moving the blockage from one place to another.

Just a quick update found loads more crap in rad turned off all rads left one on all working now thanks everyone for your help
