Comap TRV removing head.

Hello. I'm trying to remove the head off a Comap TRV. I have undone (anticlockwise) silver ring, but I can't pull the head off. I don't want to apply too much force, or is this exactly what is needed? There is no magic pin to push is there?

man up and just wiggle it, why are you trying to remove it anyway ?

Replacing with a Smart TRV. I've done my other valves just not this one!

it just pulls off once you undo the silver ring, get your daughter to do it

I managed to do this. Turned out I hadn't been completely undoing the silver ring. It got to a point when I needed a wrench to undo it completely, but thanks for all the helpful comments.
