Get some one in to look at it. Failing that, tell us lots more about your system, such as when was it last serviced?.

Dear Oilman,
Thx for your speedy reply.
We have never had a service. Apparently new boiler when moving in May 03, we've had a gas safety check 1.5 yrs ago when a different fault occured and a part was replaced.
Thx.

You've probably got the filling loop open. Make sure the valve(s) is shut and no water is entering system. If PRV valve does not stop dripping once pressure is below 3 bar, it may need replacing.

Thx for your reply.
I had a plumber in last week- the loop was open. He drained some water thru radiator and pressure has dropped. A lot of kettling going on but all ok so far. Altho', presure has now dropped to 0.5......... :
