Hi

I've got a problem with my combi boiler. The heating works ok when the boiler starts up from cold but after it reaches temperature and cuts out it will start cycling on and off quite quickly (like every 5 seconds) instead of every few minutes like normal.

The boiler is a Worcester 28Si about 8 years old. It's been serviced/checked regularly. The wall thermostat works OK. Pressure in the system is 1.5 bar. The radiators are ok with no cold patches.

Anyone had a similar problem? I'm guessing some sort of temperature control like a sensor.

Thanks

Your guess is right, but im afraid the gas engineer will check all safety checks from gas rate to working pressure of the boiler etc. So call Gas Safe Engineer
