Combi boiler pressure

Hi people
Have just switched my central heating on for the first time this year and although its working ive noticed the pressure gauge has shot up from its normal resting level of 1.5 bars into the red zone at about 3.5 bars.
After it reached the desired temp set by my stat it has settled back down towards 1.5 again?
I dont remember ever seeing the gauge enter the red before?
Its a vokera compact HE.
Any advice appreciated.

Is this important to get changed?
Likely to lead to further problems?

It needs recharging or replacing.

Covered here hundreds of times.

Re pressurize to 1 bar plus or minus a tenth of a bar.
