I know this post has been around a while but for reference purposes here goes.
Some Ravenheats were fitted with a Honeywell air pressure switch. These are more sensitive to fluctuations in external air pressures ie wind.
The HUBA air pressure switch has a larger chamber and is less susceptible to this problem.
Common cause on a lot of fan assisted boilers is dirty van blades. If boiler is never serviced, dust settlement on the impellers becomes an issue . Result is poor air circulation within the chamber. On windy days poor circulation becomes no air circulation which keeps putting out the burner.
