hi everyone, I hope someone can help- its getting cold
problem with my ravenheat CSI85A boiler hot water works fine , when I switch to hw/ ch mode - hw still works fine but ch nothing is happening
no pump or fan - I have followed the fault finding diagram - no power to pump when ch is on demand and it suggest it is the ingnition control board
0012CIR05010/2 , before I buy one , can I chech/ replace anything else
thanks

This can be a more difficult boiler to fault find on.

As far as I am aware the ignition PCB has nothing to do with powering the pump.

I would question the boiler selection and external controls ( if any ).

thanks tony ,
have checked but the feed to the pump does come from the ingnition control board

That surprises me!

Edit! I think you are confusing me!

Its not a boiler I enjoy thinking about! But on reflection the boiler has a main control PCB and a fan speed PCB on the left.

There is no seperate ignition PCB! That function is on the main PCB.

I would agree that IF there really is a demand for heat then the main PCB is likely to be at fault.

Have you checked the sensor resistances?
