Hello,

I have a Chaffoteaux and Maury MX2FS gas combi model MX224NAT.

When the central heating is on I can get hot water in the kitchen or in the bathroom. There is a problem if the hot taps are running in the bathroom then the cold is turned on in the kitchen. The water in the hot tap runs cold and no more hot water can be drawn at all for approx an hour then it works again.

I imagine this will be some kind of water pressure/flow rate problem but have no idea why it has started in the last week, also don't know why it takes so long for things to get back to normal.

Is it possible to have some kind of flow restrictor placed in the cold water tap in the kitche? Would that help?

Nothing has been changed on the water/heating side.

Cheers.
