Concealed shower mixer valve

Hi i have just bought this item

however it didn't come with any attachments apart from two screws to fix it too the wall. Ive got a plumber and he does not know why its come with no attachments for the hot and cold,

does anyone have any ideas, should it of come with tailpipes as my plumber is calling them.
In the manual it says install using WRC approved single check valves, is this correct and can my plumber just get these from any plumbers merchant

oh come on he's meant to be a plumber.
no these type of mixers don't useally come with fi as you could be using straight or elbowed fittings.

yes buy the check valves any plumbers merchants etc.
