Hi, hoping for some advice from someone who's attempted this themselves/ got someone in to do it.

We're extending the back of our Victorian terrace and want to put in a concrete floor with underfloor heating. The space is roughly 20sqm

I don't want the highly polished effect that you see around - I want it smooth but not gleaming!

Question is - is it a good idea to just get one of the concrete mixing firms in to pour the concrete and then grind it down ourselves or will it need to be done by a specialist?

We're not adverse to doing it ourselves but want to know the best way to go about it?

Cheers for any help
