I want to poor a thin layer of concrete on my garage floor as it is very uneven but solid. It will never be used for a car, just storage and workshop. I was thinking about pouring it in three sections because if it was poured in one, it would be difficult to level off, as 3 sides are enclosed. Can wooden lengths of wood be used to seperate the three sections and pulled out as the concrete starts to harden?

2.51 x 3.66 x 0.04 = 0.367m2

118 kgs = cement
222 kgs = sharp sand
444 kgs = gravel

Cheers

Pour it in one.
Any good bull float will reach over it. Your only patching and bodging otherwise.
When it starts to set you can walk over it and hand trowel it to a reasonably smooth finish or alternatively hire a small diameter power float if you want a professional finish.
The bullfloat finish using the finishing blade may be satisfactory for your requirements and taste.
