We had extra insulation put down in the loft at 20cm deep (InstaFibre roll) some years ago. 2 years ago we had 4 extra roof vents with ever increasing summer temperatures. At same time the roof felting along the soffit edges was replaced, adding the soffit cement boards were replaced with upvc board square to the wall to the upvc fascia
With the recent constant near freezing temperatures, notice in 2 bedrooms on the ceiling against the wall next to the soffit to have a glisten effect
Could the cause be from when the insulation was laid, it fills the space between the rafters up against the roof felt and maybe not allowing circulation down to the soffit area or could the bedrooms temperatures not high enough to reduce the condensation. ?
